Today we celebrate our Interactive Media and Welding Programs. Both programs allow students to express themselves in new and creative ways. The work that goes on will blow your mind. From designing art for the Berlin Peach Festival to creating garden ornaments, students are blending the aesthetic with the practical.

The WTHS Local SkillsUSA competitions were a HUGE success. From masonry and carpentry to robotics and job demonstrations, students showed off their skills and are advancing to regionals and some are already going to states! Great job to our SkillsUSA student competitors and thank you to our advisors who put in the time! Let's Go!

Got Law! Yep! WTHS has a special partnership with Carsten Wendlandt and Wor-Wic Community College. Here, students are enrolled in a college-level Criminal Law course where they are learning about the admissibility of evidence obtained on a specific scene based on a scenario. This course will blow your mind!

A lot of great things are happening in talented instructor Valerie Zienty's Pre-Engineering class. Here, students are conceptualizing and designing night lights using advanced software. Students use 3-D printers to make their designs "come alive" and see the project through the assembly and testing phase. Wow! Impressive work is being done here!

February is National Career and Technology Education (CTE) month. Each week, students are being exposed to different personal and professional skills. Students are engaging in weekly CTE activities. We will use this month to explore, promote, and reflect on a wide variety of resources and opportunities.

February is National Career and Technology Month. This week students focused on the workplace skill: Safety and Health, and we kicked off the month with a SkillsUSA pep rally on Thursday. Students have been busy preparing for our local SkillsUSA competitions. Those who advance to Regionals will travel to Dorchester on February 19.

WTHS put in the hours breaking down school data and looking at student performance and who is on track to graduate enrolled, enlisted, or employed. We have an all-star team here and the data looks good! 90%+ of students are passing, or are on track to pass, their industry recognized credentials. Over 85% have a 3.0 gpa and above Semester 1. And, YES! ALL seniors to date have a post secondary plan!
