What an amazing day at WTHS. We started our day welcoming teachers back with walk up songs for our new staff, shouted out our amazing custodians for all their hard work, authentically engaged with a lot of professional learning centered around exciting district initiatives, and culminated after hours with team building on the Pocomoke River! It's going to be a great 2026-27. Let's go WTHS!!!

We welcomed officials from all over Worcester County to Worcester Technical High School's STATT (Skilled Trades, Agriculture, Tourism & Technology) Camp to see students exploring hands-on learning and career pathways in action! From robotics and culinary arts to environmental science, criminal justice, agriculture, digital arts, and more, students are building valuable skills while discovering future career possibilities. Thank you to the Rural Maryland Council and the Worcester County Commissioners for their generous support of this incredible opportunity for our students! #WeAreWorcester

Congratulations to our Ag-Science instructor and FFA Advisor Sarah Ruggiero for being recognized (in her first year) as an outstanding ag-science educator. She has done a tremendous job with the greenhouse, AG program, and the WTHS FFA Chapter. Last night, two of our teams finished 3rd in the state. We also had two students individually take a bronze and gold medal in their respective competitions! Let's Go!

We are having an incredible week in McHenry, MD. WTHS's FFA team is busy competing, attending workshops and leadership conferences, and attending the daily state meetings. National FFA president Trey Myers flew in and delivered an amazing keynote speech on conquering personal fears! Let's go!

WTHS's FFA Team is in McHenry, MD (way out in the Northwest corner of Maryland) getting ready to take the State competitions by storm over the next three days. The team is powering up with breakfast and getting their game plans together. Last night the team enjoyed the fairgrounds as they got acclimated to the competition site. Let's go!

Attention WCPS Families: Maryland SUN Bucks helps families with school-aged children who receive free or reduced-price meals buy groceries during the summer break when school meals are unavailable.
